113TH ANNUAL NEW YORK BOAT SHOW JANUARY 24-28 - The Fisherman

113TH ANNUAL NEW YORK BOAT SHOW JANUARY 24-28

The 2018 Progressive Insurance New York Boat Show cruises into the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center from January 24-28, 2018.

A New York tradition since 1905, the five-day event delivers a shopping paradise for boaters, plus interactive boating workshops to help sharpen boating skills and boost boating IQ. Presented by the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA), this legendary show offers boat lovers the chance to shop, compare and board more than 350 boats from luxury motor yachts, sport fishers, wake/ski boats, and runabouts at the best prices of the year.

Beyond the newest innovations and best in boating, the show features five days of summer dreaming. Highlights include the latest on-water technology like the new Jet Surf board; the Touch-a-Boat Tour featuring actual working vessels from the NY Fire Department; and of course education seminars on boating and engine maintenance.

While there won’t be regular fishing seminars at this year’s event, you can stop by The Fisherman Magazine booth #252 to talk fishing with the staff; this year The Fisherman is giving out Star Rod dry bags or pliers with new or renewing subscriptions, and we’re also bringing an assortment of apparel for sale including the newest Fisherman hats!

Also, come meet The Fisherman’s 2018 Dream Boat Fishing Challenge Winner, Dave Wissemann on Saturday, January 27 at 1 p.m. sharp at booth H64. There, participants of the Steiger Craft/The Fisherman’s Youth Angler Showcase will gather for a group photo and receive a free goody bag from Tsunami Lures while supplies last.

The show kicks off on January 24 at noon and is open until 9 p.m. from Wednesday through Friday. On Saturday the show is open from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. and on Sunday it’s open from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.

The 113th New York Boat Show is being held once again at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center at 655 West 34th Street in Manhattan, walking distance from Penn Station.

Admission is $16 for adults, while children 15 and under get in free.
