The winter months can be a difficult time for many New Englanders. Fortunately we have seen a good ice fishing season so far – something not seen in the last few years – which eases the pain of some of us. But what is there to do if drilling holes in a frozen lake is simply not for you? Fret not as we’ve got you covered!
In just a few short days, beginning on January 26, the 2018 fishing, boating and outdoor show season kicks off for us in New England with the New England Fishing & Outdoor Expo in Boxboro, MA. If you just can’t wait for that show, then there is also Striper Day 2018 as well as the New York Boat Show in neighboring New York state. Both fo those shows are well worth the drive! From there on for the next three-plus months is the gauntlet of shows where stir-crazy anglers and boaters get a chance to ogle the latest and greatest from their favorite brands.
We are doing the usual slate of shows as years past, but we’ve also added a couple new ones to our schedule for 2018 and we look forward to seeing you at these great shows. February 8 – 11: The CMTA Hartford Boat Show at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford, CT.
February 17: The Jersey Shore Surfcasters Surf Day at the Brookdale Community College, Lincroft, NJ.
February 23 – 25: The Springfield Sportsmen’s Show at the Eastern States Exposition in West Springfield, MA.
March 1 – 4: The World Fishing & Outdoor Expo at Rockland Community College in Suffern, NY.
March 9 – 11: The New England Saltwater Fishing Show at the Providence Civic Center in Providence, RI.
March 24 – 25: The MSBA Sport Fishing Expo at the Wolves Den Sports Complex, Pembroke, MA.
April 6 – 8: The Northeast Fishing & Hunting Show at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford, CT.
