When Quantum announced its 100% return to saltwater at ICAST ’24, the initial response from Atlantic Coast anglers was “what about Cabo?” So, after first launching the Strive and Benchmark series, the folks from Quantum have returned to ICAST ’25 with exciting news about the relaunch of Quantum Cabo. This next generation of Cabo available in shops later this fall (think holidays) is significantly lighter than the Cabo you have at home, and it’s more efficiently sealed. Equipped with slow oscillation while boasting outstanding drag – at the customers’ request – earned Quantum Best Saltwater Reel this year at ICAST. Another Quantum entry coming in August is the Merit spinning reel, featuring high-strength graphite body and rotor reinforced by an aluminum sideplate; the new Quantum Merit Combo is also an award-winner nabbing Best Rod & Reel Combo at ICAST ’25.
