ANGLERS’ ART EXHIBIT IN NY

Fisherman contributor Mike Laptew has teamed up with renowned artist Savio Mizzi to present an absolutely stunning display of underwater photography and fine art paintings depicting gamefish and the marine environment. The exhibit is scheduled to run from September 8 through October 5 at The White Room Gallery with a special opening event on September 12 from 6 to 8 PM. The White Room is located at 2415 Montauk Highway in Bridgehampton, NY.

Mike Laptew is a longtime Fisherman contributor and world renowned photographer and cinematographer. His work ahs also been used by the International Game Fish Association, National Coalition for Marine Conservation, National Geographic, NOAA, Recreational Fishing Alliance, The Nature Conservancy, The Pew Charitable Trust, and numerous museums, aquariums and sportfishing television shows. Savio Mizzi is both a fisherman and artist whose work is more than just a visual representation of the world around us; rather it is an extension of the human spirit and its deepest passions. His works have been displayed in such galleries as Museio Del Risorgimento in Rome Italy, the Exhibit of Maltese Contemporary Art in Malta as well exhibits in the New York Art Coliseum and the National Drawing Association.
