The September bite continues to build across Long Island, with weakfish showing on both the North and South shores while albies, bonito and Spanish mackerel are pushing through in force. Fluke fishing remains steady, with quality keepers still being caught, and offshore anglers are finding everything from mahi to an impressive 100-pound wahoo. We also check in on bluefish action, freshwater bass and panfish, the latest Dreamboat Challenge standings, and upcoming events, including a big weekend at Patchogue Shores Marina. Plus, we hear from our Island correspondents.
