It’s the time of year when tuna of all shapes and sizes command a huge portion of the New England angler’s brain. Rhode Island waters have seen good numbers of bonito this week and many of them are of the larger variety. There are also reports of a few albies showing in Cape waters, with at least one going over 16 pounds! The spread of rec bluefin is expanding now, and the hot zones east of the Cape are now seeing fish, along with the ones we’ve been working for more than a week south of Block. As if that weren’t enough, the striper bite has gone bananas from Maine down to Boston will fall run blitzing and some impressive fish in the mix. We’re getting a fall preview, don’t wait to cash in!
