The Palisades Interstate Park New Jersey and the Hudson River Fishermen’s Association (HRFA) invite you to experience the Hudson River at the 35nd Annual Hooked on the Hudson event. The event will be held at Ross Dock at Palisades Interstate Park on Saturday, April 30 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
“We continue our tradition of combining a fishing contest with exhibits provided by leading environmental conservation and sportsmen’s organizations in our area,” the HRFA stated in an official release. The tournament is free, no entry fee or registration forms required. “Just come down to the park, throw your line in the water and enjoy yourself,” HRFA noted, adding that they’ll supply all equipment and bait free for kids to use. The fishing contest runs from 9 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. with the exhibits continuing until 3 p.m.
