Out of the Manasquan, the Jersey Coast Shark Anglers will host their Fluke Fever Tournament this Saturday, July 18. The contest boasts $30,000 in prize money on Saturday, with a mandatory captains meeting on Friday, July 17 starting at 6:30 p.m. at club headquarters, 385 Herbertsville Road in Brick.

In Southern Ocean County, VFW 3729 on Long Beach Island will host their annual Fluke-A-Thon on Saturday, July 18. The captains meeting will be held on Friday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at 11E Winifred Street (79th Street) in Beach Haven. Weigh-ins in the afternoon on Saturday with BBQ and cash bar with music by DJ Mario. Proceeds support veteran’s groups.
