Another Season Under the Hull - The Fisherman

Another Season Under the Hull

Here we are at the final weekly Fishing Report Supplement of the year, with the final printed issue of The Fisherman Magazine for 2019 coming up next week, our annual Holiday Gift Guide. This is a bittersweet time for me as on the one hand my week-to-week schedule of hammering out a magazine every week comes to a temporary reprise, but on the other hand it means that my open-water fishing options are winding down.

Keep in mind that in the winter months of December, January, February and March, we only print the single monthly issue for a total of 38 issues per year. Those weekly magazine in-between the primary monthly issues are ONLY available to you, the subscriber, as they cannot be found on your local news stand—it’s just another benefit to a yearly subscription to The Fisherman Magazine!

Now don’t fear, the regular weekly cycle will begin again in April, but until that time you can still get your weekly fishing reports and weekly fishing forecast videos by visiting www.TheFisherman.com in addition to the monthly issues hitting your mailboxes and newsstands on January 2, January 30, February 27 and April 2.

And speaking of those weekly fishing forecast videos that appear in our Thursday electronic newsletters, I am always on the lookout for weekly contributors throughout the season to add to my weekly fishing videos. This year I had regular videos from Dave Bogacz, TJ Kopecky and Tim Moore, as well as regular reports and photos from Alan Sharaf, Nick Kanaras, Lawrence Thompson, Tony Ranaudo, Nino Aversa, Kurt Nelson and others.

If you would like to be a part of the weekly fishing videos here at The Fisherman Magazine then I’d love to hear from you. To submit a video report all you need is a smartphone, and if you just want to shoot me written report and photo, you can do that, too. Please contact me today at [email protected] and we can discuss it further. I am interested in freshwater, saltwater, ice fishing, surf, inshore, offshore, party boat, private boat fishing or whatever you’re doing!

And last but not least, with the arrival of the winter months be sure to stop by and see the staff from The Fisherman Magazine across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic this winter at the biggest and best fishing and outdoor shows. Beginning with the January issue, a full list of where and when you can find us will be noted in print. We will have some excellent promotional items to go along with your new, renewed and gift subscriptions, and we look forward to seeing you!

If you would like to be a part of The Fisherman Magazine’s weekly fishing videos, contact us today at [email protected] for more details and to get started!
