Brigantine Memorial “All American” VFW Post 6964 will host their 3rd Annual VFW Flounder Fish Around The Clock Fiasco starting Friday, June 23 and running through to the final weigh-in on Sunday, June 25 at Riptide Bait & Tackle.
Entry fee is $80 per boat (up to four angler) with cash prizes awarded for total weight of three fish in first, second and third place; there’s also a $25 cash Calcutta option for tournament teams. An awards ceremony will take place in the VFW Banquet Room that Sunday at 1 p.m. All VFW proceeds benefits the VFW Children’s Home in Grand Rapids, MI.
You’ll find the official registration at the official weigh station, which is Riptide Bait & Tackle at 1201 West Brigantine Avenue in Brigantine. Forms are available there and also online at vfw6964.org (when the Flounder Fiasco Slider appears, just click on the Download Forms box, and then print, fill out and drop off at the Riptide Bait & Tackle shop or VFW Post 6964 at 121 31st Street South).
