Compete For Bluefin Or Fluke? Anglers Choice On June 3-4

Whether you’re a midrange bluefin hunter or a back bay drifter, the first weekend of June offers two days’ worth of quality tournament fishing at either side of Ocean County in New Jersey.

The 4th Annual Raging Raymond Fluke Tournament will run from June 3-4 out of Little Egg Harbor to benefit Nemours Children’s Health of Deptford and Cherry Hill.  Cost is $100 per boat (four anglers) with prizes for heaviest pair of fluke, first, second and third place.  There’s also a fluke, bluefish super calcutta.

Captains meeting is Friday, June 2 at 7 p.m. at the American Legion at 420 Radio Road in Little Egg Harbor.  For more information call Alex at 609-845-7653.

The Jersey Coast Shark Anglers will also be hosting their annual Bluefin Fever event on June 3 and 4, with total cash purse to first (40%), second (20%) and third (10%) finishers.  There’s also a $150 calcutta for heaviest bluefin and a $100 stringer calcutta for two heaviest bluefin.
