The NJ Fishing Club is proud to announce its 2025 Summer Tournament Season, featuring a lineup of premier saltwater fishing events taking place across the Jersey Shore. This year’s tournaments are open to anglers of all experience levels and will benefit veterans suicide prevention initiatives.
Highlights of the season include:
- Rock the Dock – June 21 in Barnegat. An early season tournament with a small price tag for entries designed to be fun for the whole family. Weigh-ins hosted at Sun Harbor Marina Bar and Grill in Barnegat with a band to follow.
- NJ Fishing Club’s Tuna Cup – July 17–20 at River Rock Marina in Brick. This multi-day event will be limited to boats 35 feet and under. The captains meeting, weigh-ins and awards ceremony will all be hosted at River Rock Marina Bar and Restaurant in Brick.
- Beat the Fleet – August 23 at The Boat Yard on Long Beach Island. The NJ Fishing Club is expanding their 5th Annual Fluke tournament hosted at The Boat Yard on the Causeway in LBI. The contest will eliminate the shotgun start this season to allow boats to start from anywhere as long as they’re fishing within 25 nautical miles of Barnegat Light or Little Egg Inlet.
Each event offers competitive prize pools, exciting Calcuttas, and a welcoming atmosphere for both serious anglers and weekend warriors. Organizers said they will also be requiring polygraph tests this year, “to keep everyone on their best behavior.” Full tournament details are available at NJFishingClub.com.
