Don’t Miss The Fisherman’s Surf, Inshore & Offshore Show On Sept. 26

Thinking of a trip to Montauk this fall?  If you need a little push to make that run out to “the end” next week, you might considering planning it around The Fisherman’s Surf, Inshore & Offshore Fishing Show which happens on Thursday, September 26.

Presented annually by The Fisherman Magazine at the Huntington Hilton, a quarter mile south of the Long Island Expressway on Route 110, you’ll find over 75 surf, inshore and offshore related tackle manufacturers and retailers, seminars, goody bags, raffles and more.  Doors open at 5 p.m. this year, an hour earlier than last year, and will run through 10 p.m.  Admission is $20 for adults, $15 for children 16 and under, and the first 600 attendees through the door will receive a goody bag filled with tackle, along with a raffle ticket towards great prizes later in the evening.

The earlier you arrive, the more variety you’ll find in your goody bag!  Sponsors include Yo-Zuri, Owner Hooks, Tin Man Teasers, Fishbites, Spro, Tsunami, Mustad, Berkley, Al Gags and more. Additionally, Nautical School will provide 200 $50 gift cards for New York State safe boating courses.

Seminars will be offered by the likes of “Crazy” Alberto Knie, Matt Broderick, Capt. John Paduano, Dave Anderson, Bill Wetzel, John Skinner, Comanche Surfcasting, Jenni Ackerman and Capt. John Raguso.  On the show floor you’ll find over a hundred tables featuring local shops, plug makers, organizations, groups, clothing companies and national manufacturers.  It’s a great place to pick up some new gear while also checking out what’s in the pipeline for 2025 release.
