A great catch won’t help your chances in the Dream Boat Fishing Challenge if your entry form isn’t filled out properly and completely. Before leaving the weigh station, take a minute to review your official entry form and make sure every required field has been filled out and that the information is legible and correct. That includes the fish’s weight, length and girth measurements, along with all angler information, signatures and dates. Incomplete or illegible forms may not be accepted, and it’s ultimately the angler’s responsibility to ensure the entry is accurate before it’s submitted.
Don’t forget to include a clear, unaltered photo of you with your catch and submit your completed entry within 10 days of the weigh-in. Taking a quick photo of your completed entry form with your phone before mailing or emailing it is also a smart idea for your records.
A few extra minutes at the weigh station can make the difference between a qualifying entry and a missed opportunity. Double-check your paperwork, and good luck in this year’s Dream Boat Fishing Challenge!
