The Hudson River Fishermen’s Association (HRFA) will present their 3rd Annual Bass & Blues Surfcasting Derby this Saturday, November 11 at Gateway National Park at Sandy Hook. Open to all HRFA members and their guests, there are prizes for top three positions in both striped bass and bluefish categories.
Meet up is 6 a.m. at Parking Lot B, which is where the awards ceremony will also take place at 11:20 a.m. A catch and release “photo” contest, the largest fish in length wins in each species category.
