Want your chance to fish against Mike “Ike” Iaconelli in a kayak tournament?! Sign up now for The Ike Foundation Kayak Tourney to be held on September 19 from 6 a.m. until 3 p.m. at Lake Nockamixon.
The Ike Foundation has held its yearly kayak fishing tournament on the tributaries of the Delaware River and Lake Hopatcong, but this year the organization is bringing the contest to Pennsylvania as one of the state’s largest kayak tournaments! Owners of all kayak brands are welcome -paddle, kayak motors, and/or pedal power. The Nockamixon event will be capped at 130 with prizes from Lowrance, Flambeau, Power Pole, YakAttack and many more.
Cost for entry is $125 and identifiers will be handed out the night before the tournament at check-in. Kayak anglers may launch from any of five Lake Nockamixon launch sites including 3 Mile Boat Launch, Stover Hill Road (Car Top Only), Deer Wood Lane Launch (Car Top Only), State Park Marina Launch, Tohickon Launch and Haycock Launch ($15 ramp fees may apply). Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three places, with prizes awarded to the whole top five.
