NFL Hall of Fame coach Jimmy Johnson returns to Atlantic City from July 14-20 with a $1 million guaranteed purse in the Quest for the Ring Championship Week.
Hosted at the Frank S. Farley State Marina at the Golden Nugget, over 80 boats have fished annually in this high stakes offshore tournament, and Coach Johnson is all set to do it again for 2024.
The July 14-20, 2024 week will include a kick-off party at the Golden Nugget Rooftop on Sunday, a secondary registration day on Monday for those who can’t make it Sunday, a choice of pick three out of five days of leave it out on the waters tournament competition. The event features Daily Dockside Parties at the JJFishweekAC Hospitality Village at the Golden Nugget Marina where teams can enjoy a taste of Atlantic City restaurants, drinks, and music, as well an ultimate gifting experience where a wagon will be provided to help you roll out all the goods. The closing party is being hosted at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.
The prize structure for 2024 has been updated to allow for teams to fish for their species and not lock into categories they are not interested in. There are more Calcuttas and optional categories that fit your request to fish in 2024, as well as a secondary weigh station available at Sunset Marina in Ocean City, MD. While all dockside events will take place in A.C., teams will be able to fish from Norfolk to Hudson and weigh in at either location.
