The Korkers Cup Gathering of the Anglers 2022 Season wrapped up the October Cup Challenge with the Striper Surf Club taking top spot. This season was one of the toughest seasons with large fish being absent in the Montauk Surf. Top fishermen received a pair of Korker’s top-of-the line wading boots with carbide soles, hoodies and hats. The Awards Banquet was catered by Croxley’s Ale House in Farmingdale, with all clubs in attendance. The winning club has chosen October 7th through October 8th, 2023 for the next Korkers Cup Gathering of the Anglers to be held again in Montauk as these dates were hot last year in the Montauk surf.
