The Tri-Flex family of rods by Lamiglas is already known as a highly-versatile and extremely powerful series of rods, but the Inshore V2 series expands on that concept by incorporating a slew of new top-of-the-line components and features and thereby making a great rod even better! Lamiglas has also added four new models to the series (two spinning and two conventional) to further expand its applications up and down the coast and beyond.
Beginning with the guides, the Tri-Flex Inshore V2 series rods all feature Fuji’s new Corrosion Control guide frames, which provide up to seven times more corrosion resistance than standard stainless steel frames. The lighter spin models feature Fuji BCKLAG guides, while the heavier spin models and all conventional models feature Fuji BCKWAG guides. These K-Series guides feature tangle-free operation, incredible frame strength, superb ring retention and striking good looks. Deep-pressed ring frames are lighter, stronger and almost totally encase the ring in metal, allowing the use of lighter, thinner rings with no sacrifice in overall integrity.
All rods in the Tri-Flex Inshore V2 series now feature CFX Carbon Fiber Composite Grips, which begin with a proprietary carbon-infused core material providing the weight of traditional 4-pound urethane foam but with the density and strength of 7 pound. It is stronger, lighter, and denser than any grip material available. What this means to the angler is the ultimate in energy transmission, providing a far-superior feel over cork, EVA, hypalon or other carbon fiber grips. The CFX grips have a buffed matte finish that is comfortable, easy to grip, and impervious to UV breakdown ensuring years of reliable service. The end result is a beautiful grip that is lighter and more sensitive than any rubber based handle, translating to more bites felt, more hook sets and more fish in front of the camera.
All of the rods in the Tri-Flex Inshore V2 series feature a beautiful matte blank finish produced by an new, ultra-thin and ultra-sleek blank coating that not only sheds weight when compared to a standard gloss finish, but also adds and edgy, more modern look and feel.
The Lamiglas Tri-Flex Inshore V2 series now includes six conventional and four spinning models in lengths from 6’8” to 7’6” with an MSRP of $299.
