The usual suspects rounded out all spots on the leaderboard with some impressive fish. Gary “The Toad” Stephens took the top wader division spot with a 42-pound fish. Top wetsuit & the overall adult winner Brandon Suaselle does it again with a 51-pound fish breaking the honored 50-pound spot. That fish had two close followers with John Bruno’s 48-pound fish taking 2nd and Mike Coppola with another 48-pound fish taking the 3rd overall adult spot. As the rules state, the earlier fish gets the top spot so John stayed in 2nd place. Brandon, John and Mike had multiple quality fish this spring into the 40-pound class. It was going to be a tough leaderboard to take down in the final weeks.
A well-deserved win for Brandon and a well-deserved 50-pound club fish! But a huge congratulations goes out to all the winners for some impressive fish in the 2023 Spring Tournament. Big shoutout also goes to Paulie and Nick at Paulie’s Tackle holding down the leaderboard standings in front of the shop all spring and helping to get everyone’s rods and tackle back in action.
