While most anglers during the summer months were resting up for daylight action, Jose Lopez was creeping while we were sleeping in the Absecon/Brigantine area tossing a 3-ounce Savage Whacky Mackerel.

Capt. Bob Cope of Full Ahead Sportfishing out of Cape May was in deepwater much of this summer putting his charters into limits of summer flounder.

Joseph DeVito sent this shot of his granddaughter Gemma Grace DeVito with a bluegill caught at the Cape May Zoo. “It’s a great place with a lot of action for children to catch and release fish,” said Joseph.
