Attention New Jersey Beach Buggy Association (NJBBA) members in good standing; on Saturday, November 4, the association will be holding their annual NJBBA Presidents Cup.
Sign up is from 6 a.m. until 7 a.m. in the rear parking lot of Area 7 at Island Beach State Park; other areas include Brigantine and Long Beach Island (Corson’s Inlet is not included this year due to lack of judges). Registration for LBI will be held at Surf City Bait and Tackle. In Brigantine contact Doug Taylor at 856-981-3787.
Fishing runs from 7 a.m. until 2 p.m., with fish entries judged between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. at the registration location with weakfish, bluefish, striped bass, drum, tautog and kingfish all qualifying for awards at the banquet. Overall winner will an NJBBA jacket embroidered with 2023 President’s Cup Winner, with additional prizes offered for second and third place finishers.
