If you’re on the hunt for doormats this weekend on the Raritan Bay and throughout the New York Harbor region, you might consider a couple of tournaments based out of the northern region.
The 42nd Annual Two-Day Fluke Tournament presented by the Sandy Hook Bay Anglers will be run on Saturday and Sunday, July 13-14. The Captain’s meeting is at 7 p.m. on Friday, July 12 at the Senior Citizens Building in Atlantic Highlands Harbor. Six tournament anglers per boat, with $5,700 worth of cash prizes including special ladies prize (rod and reel) for largest tournament entry for female angler.
