A paddle out is being held for Joseph Rera, the 16-year old Center Moriches High School student who drowned while fishing from the east jetty of Moriches Inlet on Friday, November 6. He was an avid angler with many friends, and his death saddened the entire Center Moriches community. The paddle out will take place on Tuesday, August 10 at 6 p.m. at Cupsogue Beach.
