Michael Smar from Massapequa bagged the pool on the Viking with a 2-3/4-pound porgy on their June 8th trip out of Montauk. Kil from Black Hole worked the bow of the Ebb Tide in Montauk with a jig and it didn’t take him long to connect with a striped bass feeding on the sand eel schools. The Captain Dave III out of Sheepshead Bay has been seeing a steady pick of keeper fluke on their daily trips. Those fishing on the Montauk Star are getting a taste of steady fluke fishing with a mix of keepers and shorts hitting the deck. Chris got his keeper striper on Tailwrapped Charters out of Montauk! The let us know trolling and jigging are both seeing incredible action.
