Photo Gallery: Farewell To Summer

It can be hard to bid farewell to the New England summer. You have to love those long days, the (mostly) consistent weather, the warmth and the reliable fishing. And I don’t care how old you are, there’s always some trace of that feeling of endless possibilities, a feeling that started when you were in grade-school, when you could look at summer vacation as a slot of time that was wholly, just yours. But, it’s a little easier to welcome the new season as a fisherman, because we have the fall run to look forward to. Here are some of the last images of the 2024 summer we received. Soak up that sun while you can!  If you would like to see your photos featured here, send an email to danderson@thefisherman.com with all the pertinent details, including the name of the angler and where the fish was caught.
