Well, it happened, we had a winter like I remember from being a kid in the 1990s, frigid temps, plenty of snow and safe ice crackling across the entire region! Ice fishing photos have been flooding in for months and it’s been great to see all the veterans getting it done, all the new recruits finding their latest obsession and – especially – all the young kids who have been out there enjoying this welcome return to an old school winter.
