Saltwater Underground With Nick Honachefsky Lights Up WFN This Month

Let the fireworks fly! Starting July 4th and running through December 31st, Saltwater Underground with Nick Honachefsky will be airing all four seasons on the World Fishing Network, with run times on Sundays at 12:30 p.m. and Thursdays at 6:30 p.m., 10:30 p.m., and 2:30 a.m. through the end of the year.

“What better way to start of the Saltwater Underground run on World Fishing Network than showcasing all four seasons to begin on July 4th,” said Host and Executive Producer Nick Honachefsky. “This is the first time a network will be airing not only the new 2024 fourth season but all past three adrenaline pumping seasons of the show throughout the remainder of the year so all viewers can enjoy the intense fishing action and salty characters we feature on the Northeast grounds.”

Viewers will find colorful, out-of-the-norm underground celebrities such as WWE pro wrestling Hall of Famer Jake the Snake Roberts, rock star Dean Ween, pro skateboarders Bucky Lasek and Mike McGill, Man Vs. Food host Casey Webb, celebrity chefs James Avery of Hell’s Kitchen and Josh Dechellis of Iron Chef, NYPD cop Mike Counihan of @nodonutshere and a vast array of local salty characters doing battle with bluefin tuna, yellowfin tuna, mahi, striped bass, blackfish, fluke, weakfish, white perch, cod and dozens of other “not the usual TV fishing show” species from the New Jersey and New England area.

“We have anglers from all over the world recognizing the prolific and incredible fisheries in New Jersey filming shows here and now there is but only one local show that brings this madness to life – the Saltwater Underground,” said Honachefsky. “If you want to see fun-loving salty characters, learn about fishing tactics, and mainly to have some good down home laughs to inspire you to fish, tune in. Jersey anglers always make for good TV.”
