The South Jersey Bass Club Association will be holding their 28th Annual Fishermen’s Flea Market on Saturday, April 15 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. with special “early bird” admission at 8 a.m. at the Millville Elks Lodge at 1815 East Broad Street in Millville.
Geared to both fresh and saltwater fishermen alike, admission to the event is a $2 donation, while early birds get in early for a $5 donation. Kids under 14 are admitted free.
Established in 1994, South Jersey Bass Club Association manages 22 freshwater bass fishing clubs in South Jersey and hosts this annual event to help raise funds for local scholarships and for sponsoring youth fishing activities held in conjunction with local police departments.
According to association secretary Al Franchetta, there will be plenty more to find at the event than just outstanding fishing tackle deals. “We also have a casting kids area (weather permitting) and plenty of door prizes, which are given out the whole event,” Franchetta said.
