The Peconic River Sportsman’s Club is having their annual fundraiser for breast cancer on September 10. Ceremonies begin at 8 a.m. and the shooting time starts at 9 a.m. The club typically raises tens of thousands of dollars for cancer research. The club is also one of the oldest and most respected fishing and hunting clubs on Long Island and New York. They were recently the recipient of the NYS Outdoor Citizen’s Award for all the charitable and civic work that they do.
