The Fisherman Magazine’s big show will once again be held at the Huntington Hilton Thursday, September 21. The 2023 show will be covering inshore and offshore fishing as well as Northeast surfcasting which is what the event has always spotlighted.
The show will also host nine different seminar slots composed of many knowledgeable and interesting individuals throughout the night which will include various seminars that include surf, offshore, light tackle, inshore and travel. Other names on the seminar lineup are Alberto Knie, Matt Broderick, Capt. John Paduano, Dave Anderson, Bill Wetzel, Comanche Surfcasting, Jenni Ackerman Jim Hutchinson, and Chris Parisi
On the show floor you will come across over a hundred tables that will feature local shops, plug makers, organizations, groups, clothing companies and national manufacturers. It’s a great place to pick up some new gear while also checking out what’s in the pipeline for 2024 release.
Doors open at 6 p.m. and the event will run through 11 p.m. The first 500 attendees through the door will receive a goody bag filled with tackle, along with a raffle ticket that can win you some great prizes at the big raffle during the night; the earlier you arrive, the more variety you’ll find in your goody bag. So far the gift lineup this year will include products from the following companies: Super Strike Lures, Spro, Gamakatsu, NLBN, Tsunami, Yo-Zuri, Fat Cow, Owner Hooks, Al Gags Lures, Fishbites, BKK and more. Also this year the first 200 people through the door get a chance to win one of two Tsunami Salt X Surf Tops up for grabs.
