On September 26th, The Fisherman’s giant fishing tackle and seminar show will once again transform the Huntington Hilton (598 Broadhollow Rd., Melville, NY) into a fishing extravaganza of epic proportions! Anglers can expect to see booths and seminars covering all saltwater topics, ranging from surf and inshore to offshore and custom tackle. It’s basically everything a saltwater fisherman could possibly want, all in one place!
The eight seminars are free with your paid admission and feature some of the best anglers the Northeast Coast has to offer, covering surf, offshore, light tackle, inshore and travel. This year’s lineup includes Alberto Knie, Matt Broderick, Capt. John Paduano, Dave Anderson, Bill Wetzel, John Skinner, Comanche Surfcasting, Jenni Ackerman and John Raguso.
On the show floor, attendees will peruse over 100 tables, featuring local shops, plug makers, fishing clubs, conservation organizations, clothing companies and national manufacturers. It’s a great place to pick up some new gear while also checking out what’s in the pipeline for 2025 release.
Doors open at 5 p.m. this year, an hour earlier than last year’s event, and the show will run through 10 p.m. Be one of the first 600 people through the doors and you will receive a goody bag, packed with tackle along with a raffle ticket that could win you one of the amazing prizes in our huge raffle. And just remember, the earlier you arrive, the greater the variety of tackle you’ll find in your goody bag. See The Fisherman Show ad in this issue to learn what you might find in your bag. The goody bag sponsors this year include: Yo-Zuri, Owner Hooks, Tin Man Teasers, Fishbites, Spro, Tsunami, Mustad, Berkley, Al Gags and more. Additionally, Nautical School will provide 200 $50 gift cards for NYS Boating Safety courses.
Tickets are $20 for adults; $15 for children 16 and under.
