The annual World Fishing & Outdoor Expo returns to Suffern for a four day run from March 2 through 5. The show features the latest in outdoor gear, educational opportunities, and family fun for all ages, as well as the latest and greatest gear for serious sportsmen and women. For the avid angler, the sportfishing section features top manufacturers providing insights into their latest gear and equipment – then stop by the local retailers at the show to purchase new equipment. Expert demonstrations and seminars are scheduled throughout the weekend, including top bass anglers and saltwater captains.
It is located at SUNY Rockland Community College Field House, 145 College Road in Suffern, NY. Show hours are 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday and 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is $15 for adults and $3 for children ages 6 to 11. Box office is cash only. Tickets may be purchased online at www.sportshows.com.
