Serves: 4-6
Ingredients:
- 2 lbs. fish fillets (cod, fluke, flounder, etc.)
- 4 tablespoons Tabasco
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- Juice of 1 lime
- Flour
- Oil (enough for deep frying)
Directions:
Cut the fillets into bite-size pieces and place them into a bowl. Pour on the Tabasco, Worcestershire Sauce and lime juice. Toss and refrigerate for about an hour.
After an hour, drain the dish and roll in flour until thoroughly coated. Heat a frypan and add enough oil to deep fry the fish (about 2 inches). Fry the fish pieces in the hot oil until golden brown on all sides. Drain on paper towels.
Arrange the fried fish on a platter. Garnish with lime or lemon wedges, cilantro and your favorite hot sauce. Serve hot!
