CONNECTICUT SURFCASTERS DEMO DAY - The Fisherman

CONNECTICUT SURFCASTERS DEMO DAY

Now in its eighth year, this event keeps growing and growing! There will be tackle representatives, club members providing hands-on demonstrations of different surf fishing tactics and a used tackle swap and sale. A five dollar suggested donation to the CSA will be collected at the door. Donations will also be accepted for chili, hot dogs, soft drinks and more. The event is open to the public so be sure to show up early and bring your friends!

This event originally began as a way for the Connecticut Surfcasters to showcase and share the knowledge of its membership with the general public. In doing so they decided to have a “Demo Day” where in the club members would be provided an opportunity to demonstrate different surfcasting techniques, some well-known and some guarded secrets. From there it grew each year to become what it is today: a must-attend event for anglers from up and down the coast!

For details on where and when the show will take place, be sure to visit the event listing right now!

There will be custom plug builders and commercial tackle representatives on hand showing the products they make specific to surf fishing including 24-7 Lures, Afterhours Custom Plugs, BigD Plugs, Cobra Baits, Fatty Lures, The Fisherman Magazine, Fish-On 8, Flatlander Bags, Gag’s Lures, Goo Goo Man Lures, Gravity Tackle, Gremlin Lures, Guppy Lures, High Hook Lures, Joebaggs Tackle, Lamiglas, Linesider 69, Mike’s Custom Plugs, New England Dive ODM Tackle, Rivers End Tackle, Surf Asylum, The Surfcaster, Tank Surfcasting, Tsunami, Washed Ashore Lures, Zee Baas and more.
