Capt. Ken of Angler Fleet in Port Washington reports excellent bass fishing continues while on the troll. Just about everyone limits out with a slot fish. The boat is sailing twice daily for striped bass with trolling being the best method being employed. For trolling comfort space will be limited. From the Angler Fleet in Port Washington, Capt. Ken said the trolling bite is still red hot. The captain also said there has been an explosion of bait so the bite should continue to build and get even better! They are now running 6-hour chunking trips every weekend, Friday to Sunday from 6 p.m. to 12 a.m., with these trips, for your comfort, limited to 12 fares. A Kids Fishing Adventure is set up during the summer to fascinate and educate your child about the local saltwater environment and a Deck Cadet University will introduce aspiring deckhands to the various tricks of the trade.
