It was a busy week for the crew over at the Atlantic Highlands Municipal Harbor. Lou Fligor told me he got good reports on the striped bass fishing all week with a mix of shorts, a few keepers and trophy bass being caught. The prediction of rain on Saturday kept a lot of anglers off the water but those that did fish in the morning enjoyed great striper fishing, he said.

This past week saw a busy boat ramp over at the Atlantic Highlands Municipal Harbor, especially over the weekend according to Lou Fligor, adding that on Saturday morning the parking lots filled up early and bass action served up some decent fishing. He too heard about the fluke that were being caught and released and said it will be interesting to see how many anglers will be launching boats on Monday and the rest of the week. Likewise he said it will be interesting to see how any anglers will be switching from stripers to fluke.

Atlantic Highlands Fuel Dock The Atlantic Highlands Fuel Dock is open 7:00 am - 6:00 pm daily. Beginning October 31st, the new hours will be 7:30am to 4:30pm. Harbor Office Hours The Harbor Office is open 8:30am - 4:30pm Monday thru Saturday.
