Another person that didn’t have anything good to say about the weekend weather in mid-October was Lou Fligor at the Atlantic Highlands Municipal Harbor. He said three blowouts in a row really put a hurt on the tackle shops and marinas this past month. The only thing that might be good to come out of it is there should be more stripers to catch in November, if the weather cooperates.

Over at Atlantic Highlands Municipal Harbor Lou Fligor told us this past week had its ups and downs, despite the nice weather. That is until Saturday when Sunday’s weather prediction was for rain and winds. Lou said all four parking lots were full by 9 a.m. when the word got out about the bass feeding on sand eels late in the week. “Needless to say the cleaning station got a good work out,” he said.

Atlantic Highlands Fuel Dock The Atlantic Highlands Fuel Dock is open 7:00 am - 6:00 pm daily. Beginning October 31st, the new hours will be 7:30am to 4:30pm. Harbor Office Hours The Harbor Office is open 8:30am - 4:30pm Monday thru Saturday.
