Bergen Bay Docks

Over at Bergen Bay Docks in West Babylon, Nick and Jake reported blowfish are coming up in numbers at the local docks. On the offshore scene they are still getting tuna weighed into the dock on a regular basis.

Over at Bergen Bay Docks in West Babylon, Nick reported a slower week, but there are still a ton of fluke in the bay. I was also speaking with Scott from the shop who said there are bunker pods in the ocean. I would keep an eye on these pods as a few cobia might actually pop up. Bergen is a full-service shop with bait, tackle, gas and more, so come on down before heading out. From Capt. Seve Smith from Fire Island Fishing Charters and Bergen Bay Docks, if you want larger fluke, they are still in the area and actively biting on large live baits, such as live spot, which are in stock. The blowfish action remains strong - all you need to get the job done is some chum and squid. Just outside the inlet, bluefish are holding in close, while further offshore you will find bonito, false albacore, Spanish mackerel, and bluefin tuna.
