Bob at Better Bait and Ice said a few anglers have found some good-sized striped bass on the island at Seaside Park. Over on Ortley, folks are pulling up some blues and fluke. Anglers fishing from boats near the BB and BI buoy are finding good fluke action. Squid strips and spearing are working well. Some blackfish have been reported in the inlet. Toms River is holding blues, perch, and weakfish. Folks are eagerly waiting for blowfish to come in. Crabs are big and plentiful.
