Big Mohawk III

It was a great week of sea bass fishing for anglers fishing aboard the Big Mohawk III. Greg Hueth told me the boat maxed out on several trips this past week with good crowds aboard. Greg told me anglers fishing jigs and eels were outfishing the sinker bouncers as there are a lot of sand eels in the ocean off the northern coast. “We can only hope that nothing comes along and destroys the sea bass fishing which is build off our northern coast,” he said.

I spoke with Greg Hueth of the Big Mohawk III and he made it clear that he didn’t have any good words for Mother Nature and her recent weather tantrum over the holiday weekend and Saturday’s blow. However, he gave her credit for changing the wind directions that moved some better numbers of sea bass into local waters. He told me his boat maxed out with knuckleheads on all its trips this past week. “Hopefully the good fishing will continue this week,” he said.
