Capt. Tom Fish of Black Bottom Charters in Seaford said that blackfish action was near zero since the water temps are still too cold. He will continue to target blackfish, and in May fluke and sea bass will be on the boat’s menu. Tom told me he will run both charter and open boat by reservation trips. Capt. Tom Fish of Black Bottom Charters in Seaford said that he sailed on Saturday, but it was a tough trip. Most fish were shorts. A few cod were hooked and then safely released. He will continue to target blackfish, and in May fluke and possibly sea bass will be on the boat’s menu. Tom told me he will run both charter and open boat by reservation trips.
