Booked Off Charters

Tony Guarino of Booked Off Charters said that they only fished on Sunday this past week having taken a much-needed break from running charters. They did pretty well for fluke with around a dozen keepers and four going over 6 pounds and also had some good-sized black sea bass. This week they will be back to running charters and will likely continue working the fluke grounds and try a couple of trips for tuna.

Tony Guarino of Booked Off Charters said that they fished both inshore and offshore this past week with good results. Inshore, they have been doing well targeting fluke and black sea bass out around Block Island. They have had to move around quite a bit to find the bite, which seems to change day by day, but when they find the fish, they are doing well for both numbers and sizes of fish. Offshore, they have been doing well targeting recreational bluefin tuna. It’s been a bit of a grind some days but they have been able to put their clients on some quality fish.
