Booked Off Charters

Tony Guarino of Booked Off Charters reported that fishing for black sea bass on recent trips has produced some nice catches. They will be transitioning over to mostly tautog fishing soon but will keep a few dates open for potential seabass and offshore (tuna) charters. October into November are prime time for tautog fishing in Rhode Island and some of the best fishing of the year is yet to come.

Tony Guarino of Booked Off Charters said that they got out for black sea bass a couple of times this past week and found better numbers of keeper sea bass than they had been seeing prior to the storm. A lot of the smaller fish seem to have moved off making catching keepers a whole lot easier. They will continue running sea bass trips over the next couple of weeks and will start going for tautog soon. There hasn’t been too much for talk of tuna since the storm, but if the opportunity presents itself, they will likely try to get offshore a couple more times as well.
