Booked Off Charters

Tony Guarino of Booked Off Charters said that they cancelled trips this past weekend due to a combination of the fishing still be pretty slow and wanted to wrap up a few things on the boat before the season gets fully underway. From what Tony is hearing, squid are starting to show up locally. Tautog fishing is getting better in the bay and out around the island and there are some fluke moving into the area.

Tony Guarino of Booked Off Charters said that they are just about ready to start running charters and currently plan on getting out for tautog and possibly some stripers this coming weekend. The fishing does seem to be picking up with freshly arrive migratory striped bass moving in along the south shore and up inside of the bay and tautog reports starting to improve out around Block Island.
