From Boulevard Bait and Tackle in Sea Isle City Cam said many anglers are focusing on targeting tog and sheepshead off the 8th street jetty now using green crabs and sand fleas. Tog are coming up to about 4 pounds, with a few larger. Bonito and Spanish mackerel are busting small baits outside of the jetty rocks as well.

Boulevard Bait and Tackle reports that the flounder bite is still going strong in the bay, but finding a keeper there has been a challenge. Anglers are finding some keeper size fish along the oceanfront and in the inlet. More keepers are coming from the Cape May Reef Site or the Wildwood Site where the catch also includes small blues, tog and triggerfish. Triggers and tog, including some keeper tog are being caught from the jetty on green crabs.

The jetties and inlet rockpiles are putting up some nice tautog and sheepshead said Cam from Boulevard Bait and Tackle in Sea Isle City. Crab baits are best to use to find keeper tog up to 5 pounds and sheepshead pushing up to 8 pounds.
