Over at Breachway B&T the focus has shifted to the ice. And since we haven’t had local ice along the south shore in at least three years, the interest is pretty strong. It’s been a mix of bass, panfish and pickerel, with a few guys hitting some trout as well. There hasn’t been any one pond that’s been the best, it seems like most of the places with safe ice are giving up decent action to anyone that drills a hole. Large bodies of water are less likely to be safe, and – perhaps as a result – there have been no reports from Wordens so far.
