Capt. Gillen Archives - The Fisherman

Capt. Gillen

November 03, 2025 - 09:04:07

On the Capt. Gillen, we heard they are targeting stripers at 11 a.m. every day during the week and on Saturdays and Sundays at 6 a.m. and 11 a.m., and that when the bite is on fares are doing a great job of reeling in the striped bass, from jigging to eeling depending on the conditions, with slots, smalls, and overs in the mix.  The wind this last week kept the boat at the dock for a number of days but the fishing was very good on Sunday’s 6 a.m. trip.  Reservations highly recommended for all trips.  There are plenty of photos on their Facebook and Instagram accounts as well as on their website.  Rod, reel, bait, tackle included in fare. Reduced fares for seniors, veterans, active military, first responders, and children; information available by clicking on the tickets page on their site.  No surcharge for using credit cards.  Gift certificates available.  For more information call 631-586-5511 or visit their website.
