The Captain Lou Fleet has been a top name in Long Island’s fishingcruising business since 1948 and is conveniently located in Central Nassau County, just a half-hour or less from New York City and the East End. Each of their vessels is U.S. Coast Guard inspected and certified and equipped with the lasted in fish finding and navigation technology and cabin spaces are climate controlled and non-smoking with comfortable ladies accommodations. The Capt. Lou crew members are both courteous and knowledgeable and there to cater to anyone from children and beginners to seasoned sharpies. Fishermen who lack their own gear will be supplied with all necessary tackle and equipment and the mates will fillet your fish for added convenience. Each day the Captain Lou Fleet launches fishing excursions on the waters of the Great South Bay and the Atlantic Ocean and targets a multitude of species including fluke, sea bass, blackfish, porgies, mackerel, cod, pollock, hake, haddock, bluefish, weakfish, striped bass and tuna. While they primarily sail on an open boat basis, their vessels are also available for private fishing charters and the Captain Lou Fleet specializes in school field trips, camp outings, corporate affairs, fundraisers or any other special event.
