Captain Dave III

I spoke to Capt. Dave Paris of the Captain Dave III in Sheepshead Bay and the word is good fluke fishing in the ocean this week with many impressive fish between 4 and 11-3/4 pounds. The Friday and Saturday evening trips this week saw good porgy fishing inside Jamacia Bay averaging 10 to 25 fish per man. An Offshore Tuna Special will depart at 6 p.m. on Sunday, July 28th and return at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, July 30th. Reservations are required and there are still spots available. On Sunday, the fares collected 15 keeper summer flatties and 150 shorts. The Saturday evening bass run saw 18 keeper slots and 30 shorts.
