There is a lot of freshwater runoff in the rivers and creeks right now according to reports from customers of Dockside Cafe and Marina. Anglers are finding stripers near the mouth of the creek and into Tuckerton Bay. Bloodworms and clam baits have been producing stripers from 20 to 30 inches. There has also been the occasional drum caught (on clams), and these fish are in the 25- to 30-inch size range. The creek is still producing perch for anglers fishing live grass shrimp or bloodworms. These fish seem to be moving farther upstream than they were just a week ago.

Dockside Cafe and Marina reports that striper and perch are being caught in the river and creek when the weather cooperates. This past week, there were very few days where the weather actually cooperated. Nonetheless, anglers managed stripers to 32 inches on bloodworms, and some hefty perch near the mouth of the Mullica, also on bloodworms.
