Capt. Walter on the Fishfinder II reported the boat will begin sailing for stripers the third week of April for striped bass – 10 a.m. and 5 p.m., with fluke trips to be added on May 4, when fluke season officially opens. The Fishfinder II is a 65 foot, twin diesel fishing boat with the latest safety, navigation and fish finding equipment. She is Coast Guard certified and licensed to carry up to 80 passengers and boasts a twin anchor system and super fast winch for quick and efficient anchoring. The boat’s interior amenities include a large, clean, heated cabin with separate men's and women's restrooms and a galley with coffee pot, microwave and snack bar. Other conveniences come in the form of top notch rods, reels and tackle which is included in your fare along with fresh bait for fluke and bottom fishing and live eels for night striped bass. Fish cleaning services will also be provided and included with your fare. Adding to one’s experience aboard the Fishfinder II is her talented crew composed of captains Walter Czekaj (owner), Todd and Matthew and mates Jeff, Daniel, Matt and Tim.
