Jamaica II

Capt. Joe said the Jamaica II has been finding plenty of life on the fluke grounds. The bite has been producing more shorts than keepers, but there are still some quality fish mixed in, with fluke reaching up to 6 pounds. A few anglers have even managed to put together limit catches, making for a productive day on the grounds.

Capt. Joe said the Jamaica II will continue hunting for fluke throughout September. August provided some solid opportunities at keeper-sized fish when conditions lined up, with plenty of action keeping anglers busy. The challenge has been locating the larger fluke, but for those willing to put in the work, the rewards have been there. The crew will keep grinding in September, searching the grounds for quality fluke and giving anglers another shot at putting a hard-earned keeper in the box.
